The best film adaptation I have ever seen is 'Atonement'. It captures the horrors of war in a way my imagination never could. Discuss your favourite adaptations here.

I think most films are good adaptations of the book, although the new Christmas Carol film isn't very good (I don't think that A Christmas Carol should be animated, it's just wrong ) Emma, Wade Deacon

I think that the twilight saga are great adaptations as they include many great stunts and characters who exactly fit in with their description (JACOB BLACK ). However I totally agree with Emma (Hiyyaa Em) as their is too many of the Christmas Carol films eventhough I found the new one funny (as I was with a bunch of great friends) and enjoyable as i found the computer animations excellent - the Jim Carey character -Scrooge- looked the exacted same as he does in real life. Hope You Agree, Jodie x

OMG! went to see new moon, just got back! Taylor Laughtner is gorgeous! But, I stay true to my word, so is edward. Jacob is just as annoying as he is in the book! Would have been better if edd was in it more, but still a great adaptation. they stuck to the book as much as possible but the bit at the Volterra where Heidi led all of those people into the big room before getting eaten was horrific! There was a little lad going in with his parents! i nearly cried at that bit. LOL What can i say, i'm a wuss! Like I said, a fantastic film that was as close to the book as you can get. See ya! sarah!
